In 1982 brothers Calvin and Doug Fritz purchased the local grocery store in Hildreth, Nebraska. They continued a line of six generations of being in the grocery industry, and worked hard to grow the business bigger than it has ever been.

In a small town of less than 400 people, Doug started to sell his own hot dogs and polish dogs. The meat sales started to grow in popularity and soon the grocery store became too small for their expanding business. In 1999 the Fritz brothers purchased a store in Holdrege and named it Fritz’s Meat.

Fritz’s Meat has expanded its products over the years and has now become your local community connection for quality meat, friendly service, and great prices. We specialize in our own smoked meat products, but have whatever you need for any occasion. We take pride in our community and appreciate your business.
